To use this page, you must be a registered voter in New York State. The voter registration deadline for the June 22 Democratic primary is May 28, 2021.

How do I vote?

NYC now uses Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) in primary and special elections for local offices.

Early Voting

You can vote early from Saturday, June 12, 2021 until Sunday, June 20, 2021.

Sunday, June 13, 2021 - 8AM to 5PM
Monday, June 14, 2021 - 7AM to 4PM
Tuesday, June 15, 2021 - 10AM to 8PM
Wednesday, June 16, 2021 - 10AM to 8PM
Thursday, June 17, 2021 - 10AM to 8PM
Friday, June 18, 2021 - 7AM to 4PM
Saturday, June 19, 2021 - 8AM to 5PM
Sunday, June 20, 2021 - 8AM to 4PM

Election Day is June 22, 2021. Polls are open from 6am to 9pm.

Where Do I Vote?

You can vote ONLY at your designated polling place. You can vote even if you cannot get to your polling place on Election Day. Polling places are open from 6am to 9pm.

All registered voters can request an absentee ballot be mailed to them. The deadline to request a mailed ballot online, by email, fax, or by mail (postmark by deadline) is Tuesday, June 15, 2021.

If you are affected by COVID-19 and/or the potential of contracting the virus, please check the box for "Temporary Illness" on the application.

 

Vote by Absentee Ballot

You may return the ballot in any of the following ways:

  1. Put it in the mail ensuring it receives a postmark no later than June 22nd.

  2. Bringing it to any County Board of Elections Office no later than June 22nd by 9pm.

  3. Bringing it to an early voting poll site between June 12th and June 20th

  4. Bringing it to a poll site on June 22nd by 9pm.
